8 hours trout fishing
8 hr excursions run early morning to early afternoon or mid day to evening and are ideal to explore the local creeks, all reachable within one hour drive from Monterosso, in search of native mediterranean trout, wild browns and hybrids between the two.. Fishing a small Ligurian creek is an intense 'hide and seek' experience which rinvolves long walks through dense bush, climbing steep rocky banks and lot of wet wading so anglers must be fit and in good physical condition.
For anglers looking more relaxed fishing (and bigger fish), some top quality controlled fly-fishing only waters such as Trebbia, Secchia and Stura can also be reached in a half day with a bit of extra travel time
During shad run (April to mid May), this is also a great option to try your luck with these acrobatic fish

Full and multi-day trout fishing
Full day typically runs early morning to evening and will allow to travel to some of the best waters in North West Italy such as Trebbia, Stura, Secchia, Tanaro, Sieve and more. Depending on which river we will be fishing we can spend full day on the water with lunch on the river banks, or take a break between morning and afternoon session to enjoy some true italian country cousine in small local restaurants. Overnight stay in country side hotels/B&Bs also possible and highly recommended as it's a great opportunity for anglers and families to experience genuine rural Italy, miles and miles away from the hustle and bustle of tourist destinations.

Saltwater
From mid August to end of October join us for action packed early mornIng or late afternoon saltwatwer flyfishing sessions on board of a well equipped open boat. We will be casting surface fly patterns or toss topwater lures around the National Park buoys to mahi mahi schools, and look for frigate tuna, false albacore and baby bluefins chasing baitfish balls in the open sea. Although we can travel several miles offshore looking for surface feeding fish, a lot of the action will take place no more than ten minutes boat ride from the harbor.

Fishing etiquette
All our guided fishing trips are strictly catch and release for freshwater and I highly recommend the same pratice for saltwater too. However, pelagic fish might sometimes get injured or distressed during fight, to the point that release will not be possible. In such case they will be at client’s disposal for the table.
