Gianluigi
AKA Gian 'Il Muggine' ('The Mullett'), he started fishing as a kid and since then he never quit. Obsessed with fly fishing, but open to spinning in both fresh and saltwater, he's traveled the world fishing exotic waters from Tonga to Tokyo, India, New Zealand, Argentina and many more. Now based in Monterosso al Mare, in the heart of the Cinque Terre National Park, he’s proud to guide guests through one of the most unique fishing destinations in Europe. As a certified member of the Italian Fishing Guide Association (AIGUPP), his mission is to share the hidden treasures of Italian fly fishing with visiting anglers.

Gianluca
A Riomaggiore native, Gianluca also started his fishing career as a child — rod, float, and worm in hand. Over the years, he explored light and heavy spinning, then embraced fly fishing in all its forms, eventually falling in love with tenkara. This minimalist Japanese method brings him peace, focus, and unforgettable catches.

As both a certified fishing and environmental guide, Gianluca blends technique with storytelling.

His deep knowledge of the local territory ensures each trip is not just about fish — but about fully living the landscape, the river, and the moment.
